Planet Label, an online retailer of blank labels, custom printed labels and flexible packaging, has added a second HP Indigo digital press. The new press, a WS6000, complements the ws4500 that the company has had for two years.
“Planet Label experienced significant growth over the past two years after adding its first digital printing press, an HP Indigo 4500,” says Mike Mead, the company’s marketing coordinator. “The addition of the WS6000 will allow us to be more competitive in a number of different markets where other printing methods have traditionally dominated.”
The new press means more than just added capacity for Planet Label. “We’re now able to turn most jobs out in 48 hours or less at pricing aimed at traditional print methods, but with all of the advantages of digital,” says Mead.
