The 26th Coating and Drying Technology Seminar will take place in Waltham, MA, USA May 2-5. The event is prouced by Edgar B. Gutoff, a consulting chemical engineer and adjunct professor of chemical engineering at Northeastern University.
The seminar is designed for engineers and scientists who are working with the coating and drying of fluids on continuous webs and who wish to become familiar with all aspects of coating and drying. It is useful for experienced engineers who wish to learn other areas of coating, and for those relatively new to the field.
Topics to be addressed include fluid preparation and delivery, application methods, pre-metered coating, the impact of machinery, electrostatics, substrates and supports, surface forces, process control, web handling, and tension control.
