Uflex, an India-based flexible packaging company, has acquired a new five-color Edale Beta modular press. The press has been installed at the company’s plant in Noida, near New Delhi.

Uflex is focused on the manufacturing of flexible laminate and films and security products, with more than 6,000 employees working in its facilities in India, Dubai, Egypt, and Mexico, and with a market presence in over 105 countries.

The Beta press, which has more than 70 installations around the world, has the capacity to incorporate up to 14 print stations and three converting stations and is suited to the production of high quality labels, tags and sachets.

G.P Pathak and Sanjay Saxena, project managers at Uflex, say that “the Beta offered what we were looking for to meet the requirements of a specific project and additionally for label printing, which we are entering into.”
