February 7, 2011

The Italian manufacturer of finishing systems has relocated to Faenza, near Ravenna.

Live demonstrations of the VEGAplus and VEGAplus Booklet label finishing machines will be featured at an open house March 9-11 at the grand opening of Prati’s new headquarters in Faenza, Italy, near Ravenna. Also to be demonstrated are the Saturn and Jupiter slitter-rewinding-inspection machines and the Pharmacheck system.

Prati’s move follows a period of growth, in which the company’s turnover doubled from 2009 to 2010. At 3,300 square meters, the Faenza site is more than four times larger than the previous premises. Approximately 1,500 square meters is dedicated to production; the open house event will be staged in the company’s 650 square meter showroom.

Chiara Prati, sales director, says, “The Prati Open House is an excellent opportunity for label printers to learn how they can improve their print environments and work more profitably. We’ll be demonstrating some of our leading systems so attendees can get a better understanding of the impact they could have on their own setups.

“The event is also a major milestone in Prati’s expansion strategy. It marks the official opening of our larger headquarters and production facilities, which will help us build on our success and spur further growth.”
