FLEXcon offers easy adoption of UL-certified products

February 16, 2011

For a flat $500 fee, converters can adopt any UL-certified FLEXcon product for UL-compliant labeling applications.

In response to the cost and inconvenience of qualifying substrates for UL-compliant labels, FLEXcon has announced a program that allows for the easy adoption of its UL-certified products. The Spencer, MA, based company has responded to Underwriters Laboratories' new procedures and pricing by faciliating the use of its extensive portfolio of UL-certified products.

For a flat $500 fee, converters can adopt any UL-certified FLEXcon product for UL-compliant labeling applications. FLEXcon will reimburse the $500 transfer fee upon reaching a minimum dollar purchase of the product adopted. According to FLEXcon, this means that converters can offer a product to clients that performs better, costs less, or is held in inventory, enabling quick turnaround. Many of the products are available from pre-slit inventory and shipped same day or next day, depending on what time the order is placed.

Under the program, no new testing is required – only a paper transfer which can be submitted through an internet portal, via email, or phone. For more information, call today 508-885-8303 or visit www.FLEXcon.com/UL to see the product listing and UL file.
