Chemsultants adds two scientists to R&D

Chemsultants International, Mentor, OH, USA, has hired Mike Hilston as a research chemist and Jack Yeary as a quality specialist.

Hilston will be responsible for contributing to new product development projects. He brings more than 30 years of materials and product R&D experience to the company, and holds 16 US patents covering PSA tape products, extensible films, silicone release compositions, multi-layer composites and hydrophilic copolymers. Hilston has held numerous technical development positions in the pressure sensitive tape, energy and polymer industries for such companies as Avery Dennison, Gould Incorporated and Diamond Shamrock. He is a graduate of Cleveland State University and holds a BS cum laude in chemistry.

Yeary will be responsible for testing within the Chemsultants laboratory. He will also be involved with processes and quality assurance testing in the product and process development operation. His background includes more than 35 years of pressure sensitive adhesive operations and testing in the areas of materials, coating and finishing, and quality assurance. He has held numerous positions in the pressure sensitive tape division of Avery Dennison.
