Two more converters come to LIFE

March 8, 2011

The Label Printers and Monet Graphics have been certified under TLMI’s Project LIFE, an environmental compliance program.

Monet Graphics and The Label Printers have been awarded LIFE (Label Initiative for the Environment) certification from TLMI, the Tag &Label Manufacturers Institute.

Project LIFE was developed to assist TLMI members to find cost effective ways to reduce their companies’ environmental footprint. LIFE is a program designed for the narrow web marketplace and addresses four key elements of the narrow web printing and converting industry: clean production, energy and greenhouse gases, product and environmentally preferable materials and management practices.

“I congratulate Monet Graphics and The Label Printers on their recent TLMI LIFE certifications. We currently have 22 converter and supplier members certified and we are seeing a renewed focus on green initiatives and sustainability for 2011. The program has been extremely successful, and the TLMI board of directors continues to prioritize the program’s exposure and outreach in the marketplace.”

Monet Graphics is based in Coatesville, PA, USA. The Label Printers is located in Aurora, IL, USA.
