Reynders Pharmaceutical Label has ordered its fourth Rotocontrol slitter rewinder inspection machine, this one equipped with an AVT Helios 100 percent inspection system. The new machine will include a vacuum splice table with integrated waste windup at the vertical inspection area, a recently released option available on all Rotocontrol RSC Slitter/Rewinder and RSP Single Pass 100 Percent Security Inspection Machines.
“Our current investment of three Rotocontrol inspection machines has proved very beneficial for label production at Reynders Etiketten,” says Marc Reynders, CEO. “Significant growth within Reynders Pharmaceutical Labels resulted in a need to expand our slitting/rewinding and inspection capacity, and we naturally opted to invest in another Rotocontrol machine.”
Reynders Label Printing is composed of seven companies. Operating entities serve the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, personal care and luxury goods industries, and produce labels for industrial applications, security and other types of complex labels. The company has a range of production capabilities, including 40 printing presses and six different printing technologies, from traditional to digital. Headquartered in Boechout, Belgium, Reynders also has operating facilities in France, Poland and India.
Rotocontrol, based in Ahrensburg, Germany, manufactures inspection, slitting, rewinding and diecutting finishing machines for the narrow web industry.
