Pearl Technologies Inc. says it is offering a better way to punch holes “on the fly” with its new Pivot Punch, a continuous motion puncher featuring a spring loaded pivot that allows for higher cycling speeds, and a built in auto-alignment system.
The manufacturer says that the Pivot Punch is quieter than traditional ball and die punching, and works on both thick and thin webs.
Pearl, based in Savannah, NY, USA, manufactures high-speed machine attachments for punching holes, perforating, and slitting, as well as enhancements for blown film extrusion processes.
