DiTrolio Flexographic Institute (DFI) is starting off the summer with new dates for its hands-on flexo seminars. DFI offers seminars from entry level to advanced level for flexographic printing. The institute is located in Broadview, IL, USA, a suburb of Chicago.
Basic Flexo Seminar: The three-day seminar is designed for beginning press operators and others who are interested in learning the basic principles and practices of flexography. It provides participants with an education in the fundamental theories behind the flexo printing process and exposes them to the hands-on operation of the press. Available dates are June 15-17 and November 16-18.
Advanced Flexo Seminar: This three-day seminar is for press operators who already have experience and know the basics of press operations. The training is designed to help them advance to higher skill levels in the production of process work. Available dates are July 20-22 and October 12-14.
Sales/Customer Service Seminar: The two-day seminar is informative and educational for all industry professionals, particularly non-production personnel such as sales and customer service representatives. It is tailored for those who are interested in learning the basics of flexographic printing and who want to gain a working knowledge of the industry that surrounds them everyday. Available dates are May 25-26 and November 3-4.
The DiTrolio Flexographic Institute was founded to meet the flexographic industry’s need for quality, off-site training to counter the problems of on-the-job training: wasted production and equipment time, wasted raw materials and inconsistent skill sets. The institute offers industry-specific training seminars for all skill levels – from beginning press operations to advanced printing applications – and features an environment in which new press operators and seasoned industry professionals alike can gain hands-on exposure to printing and finishing processes. DFI is approved by both the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs.
