PCM Image-Tek introduce a label finishing system

The small format converting unit laminates, diecuts, slits, and rewinds.

PCM Image-Tek, Springfield, VT, USA, has introduced the MP850, an 8.5" wide mini-press designed to laminate, diecut, slit, and rewind digitally printed labels. The unit cuts labels up to 8.25" wide x 9" long at speeds up to 8 inches per second, and uses either an engraving tool or an optional magnetic cylinder with flexible dies.

It features X and Y adjusters on the cutter and slitter, step up and step down anvil rollers, primary and secondary finished label take-ups, and comes standard with a laminate liner take-up.

According to the manufacturer, the MP850 is compatible with printers made by TTR, VIP Color, Primera, Degrava, QuickLabel Systems, and Rapid. Click here for a video.
