Apex to enter Latin America

May 31, 2011

Apex Latin America will be located in Curitiba, Brazil, and will start production in July 2011.

Apex Group of Companies, following last year’s investment in new headquarters in Hapert, the Netherlands, as well as expanding its production capacities in the existing plants in the Netherlands, Italy and North America, the group is now setting up its next production plant within the rapidly growing Latin American market. The newly founded “Apex Latin America” will be located in Curitiba, Brazil, and will start production in July 2011.

Dercilio Oliveira, a flexo specialist who has worked with with Apex since DRUPA 2008, has built up an extensive local agent network in the region, the company says. Apex plans on supplying the region with its recently patented Genetic Transfer Technology, as well as ceramic coated and laser engraved anilox and metering rolls.

Apex Group of Companies introduced its new member plant to the industry during BrasilPlast in São Paulo, May 9-13. "It was a great success, more than 500 interested parties visited the Apex’ booth," the company says.
