The “Premio Qualidade Flexo Prof. Sérgio Vay” award is named after Professor Sérgio Vay, a man considered to be a pioneer in Brazil's flexo industry. Also known as "Top in Flexo," it is regarded as the most respected award related to flexography in Brazil. Flexoprint, a converter based in Marialva – Parana, Brazil, has been named this year's recipient of the award.
Flexoprint says it's proud for the honors the company has received, and adds that its investments in MPS UV-flexo press lines have been a key factor in the company's success.
Flexoprint utilizes two MPS EF410 UV-flexo presses, one equipped with eight and one with nine color printing units. The print automation for the MPS EF series consists of print sleeve settings as well as print gap settings, both automatically. Repeat jobs and previous settings can easily be uploaded. The EF410 print settings ensure that there is minimal waste for initial or repeat jobs.
