Gallus, Inc. will once again take its show on the road, this time to All Printing Resources’ 2-day open house in Glendale Heights, IL, USA, on June 15 and 16, 2011. In addition to live demonstrations of the Gallus ECS 340 label press, the APR open house will feature workshop sessions on emerging plate, pressroom, and color management technologies.
Day One will feature speakers on productivity-boosting pressroom tips and techniques, and Day Two will focus on prepress, plates and color solutions. Guest speakers will include representatives from Harper, Daetwyler, Esko, Flint and more. Those in the printing business interested in expanding his or her knowledge of emerging technologies from experts in the field is encouraged to attend part or all the sessions. The Open House is free, but visitors are asked to register at http://therockpress.com/apr.shtml by June 10 so seating and food can be arranged in advance.
The Gallus ECS 340 label printing press will be demonstrated during both days of the open house. The Gallus road show is designed to showcase the new flexographic press – a completely portable model is mounted on a specially modified 53-foot semi-trailer with custom staging and foul weather curtains to keep visitors dry, so there’s never a rain-out at an event.
A complete Roadshow schedule is listed on www.therockpress.com/roadshows.shtml where visitors may also register. Interested parties may also contact the Gallus ECS 340 product manager, Rob Wray, at 513-543-7364, or by email at Robert.Wray@gallus-group.com.
