Anilox roll manufacturer Harper Corporation of America has completed the installation of advanced equipment that boosts efficiency at its US production facilities in Charlotte, NC, and in Green Bay, WI.
“Upgrading manufacturing technology is integral to Harper’s continuing effort to lower energy use, cut waste, reduce packaging, conserve resources and reduce its overall imprint on the environment,” says Ronald “Lee” Harper Kluttz, VP of manufacturing operations. “First, we enhance the efficiency of how we produce anilox rolls. Second, we advance the sustainability goals that Harper has long supported.”
Among the green manufacturing programs introduced over the years by Harper includes the recapture of all production-generated waste – including powder, shavings, wires and consumable parts.
