July 29, 2011

The single-coated tapes are designed to solve ESD, halogen-free flame retardant and high-temperature applications.

Polyonics introduces a new family of single-coated engineered tapes designed to solve static dissipative (ESD), halogen-free flame retardant and high temperature applications. The tapes are REACH and RoHS compliant and available in a wide variety of polyimide, polyester and aluminum constructions. They also include an array of liners to allow hand or die-cutting.

“The knowledge and experience we’ve gained over the past 15 years helping converters solve complex ESD, flame retardant and high temperature problems has led to the introduction of these new tapes,” said Tom Rogers, Marketing Director at Polyonics. “Our developments in functional coatings and pressure sensitive adhesives, combined with using the most advanced polymer film technologies, have allowed us to offer the best tapes for complex engineering problems.”

Westmoreland, NH-based Polyonics is a manufacturer of high performance, custom film, tape and label materials used by specialty die-cut converters worldwide. Polyonics is ISO 9001:2008 registered.
