Multi-Plastics commissions Hutchinson Miller

Hutchinson Miller Sales Company, based in New Britain, PA, USA, will be a manufacturers’ representative for oriented polystyrene films to the pressure sensitive coater market.

Multi-Plastics Extrusions Inc. has announced the signing of the Hutchison Miller Sales Company as a manufacturers’ representative for oriented polystyrene films to the pressure sensitive coater market. According to a statement by Multi-Plastics, the decision to sign Hutchinson Miller was based on their reputation and experience with technical sales representation of facestocks in this market. These products include OPS film in clear, matte, and white in gauges ranging from .0015” to .010”. Also available are EnviroSafe products, which, according to the company, are eco-efficient products that do not compromise on product performance or processability.

“Hutchinson Miller will elevate our Spectralite brand of OPS film within this market, and allow us to focus on innovation and R&D projects. Their reputation and experience will increase our exposure and awareness about our extrusion capabilities. We look forward to the opportunities this alliance brings,” says John Parsio Jr., president of Multi-Plastics Extrusions Inc.

Multi-Plastics Extrusions Inc. is a manufacturer and merchant supplier of polystyrene sheet and film and polyester sheet to the thermoforming and graphic arts industries.Its parent company, Multi-Plastics Inc., acquired in February 2010 the former Reynolds Packaging KAMA extrusion facilities in Hazleton, PA and Avenel, NJ. It. is a distributor to the envelope, carton, label, printing, and packaging markets.
