October 17, 2011

The International Label Group is an association of companies that use ETI Converting equipment to produce PS laminate materials, print and convert in one pass.

ILG – the International Labeling Group, an association of users of ETI Converting systems – reports a successful conference held in late September in Brussels in advance of Labelexpo Europe 2011. The main speakers were Mike Cooper of Catchpoint, who spoke about developments in the linerless label market and his company’s linerless technology, and Roger Pellow, managing director of Labelexpo.

Frederic La Brie and Eric Ouellet, COO and VP Operations at ETI, respectively, presented an overview of new ETI products and technical improvements. The Miniliner and the Linerless technology, they said, bring an environmental solution to the release liner wastage. A tabletop exhibition was held after the meeting.

The group appointed Hoessein Hadaoui its new president for 2011-2012. Hadaoui is from Telrol in the Netherlands.
