October 24, 2011

The new plant in Arlington, TX, USA will act as the primary production and distribution site for DSL’s print broker and value added reseller clients in the Southwest.

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc., a nationwide manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels sold exclusively through the trade, has opened a new production facility in Arlington, TX, USA.

“We are very pleased to have our new Arlington, Texas plant open,” said Robert Hakman, owner and president of Diversified. “It allows us to provide a much higher level of service to both our Southwest clients as well as regional offices of the many national firms we work with. We now have a true nationwide footprint that will drive down costs and increase efficiencies for our dealer partners and their clients.”

“As our company has grown from its initial beginnings in 1985 to the multi-plant operation it is today, it has always been part of our long term corporate strategy to have a significant presence in Texas,” said James Kersten, Diversified’s chief executive officer. “We felt now was an excellent time to commit capital and human resources to continue our national expansion and market penetration. We have a terrific facility with extensive production and distribution capabilities in one of the strongest label markets in the country. Also, we were able to bring in an experienced team to operate the plant led by industry veteran Skip Winans, our new general manager in Texas.”

Headquartered in Itasca, IL, Diversifed Labeling Solutions, Inc. is one of the largest independent label manufacturers in the USA. The company services clients through four production plants and distribution centers in: Itasca, IL, USA; Norcross, GA, USA; Reno, NV, USA; and Arlington, TX, USA.
