EFI has announced that label converter OMNI Systems has selected EFI Radius as its new MIS/ERP software provider.
"After closely reviewing several options, OMNI Systems chose the EFI Radius ERP solution because of its specific focus on the labeling industry, its robustness, and the ability for the system to grow with us as our business expands and evolves," said Michael Kisha, vice president of manufacturing and distribution. "Now our separate, home-grown systems will be replaced by an integrated solution that covers the complete workflow, from quoting to printing to shipping.
"We expect to be a lot more efficient in all departments, and look forward to having real-time metrics to help us make appropriate decisions that will lead to even greater customer satisfaction and business success,” Kisha said.
In business since 1989 with headquarters in Cleveland, OH, USA, OMNI Systems is one of the largest private label converters in the United States. According to the company, OMNI Systems has seen steady growth over the years, and the timing was right for the company to take their computing systems and processes to the next level.
"There are a number of ERP systems available today, but very few are targeted to the label market with the depth of functionality of EFI Radius," said David Taylor, general manager of EFI Radius. "In today's market, companies need to be more efficient, profitable, and productive, and we're confident that EFI Radius will deliver all of this and more for OMNI Systems."
EFI Radius is an ERP software platform designed to enable end-to-end, automated business process management from order inquiry to cash receipt for label, flexible packaging, converting and folding carton businesses. According to the company, EFI Radius offers flexibility to manage the unique requirements of printing and packaging companies to help optimize and automate sales estimating; production planning, scheduling; materials management; shop floor data collection; job costing; time and attendance.
