FINAT, the international association for the self-adhesive label industry, has announced the detailed program of its biennial technical seminar, which will be held March 7-9 at the Fira Palace Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. The theme of this year's event is: Self-adhesive labels and their future vs. alternative technologies - Evolution or Extinction.
"We are pleased and take pride in being able to celebrate the 20th edition of FINAT's Technical Seminar this year," says Kurt Walker, FINAT president. "It demonstrates our members' continued need for updates on our industry that can help them in making their business stronger and more professional."
On Wednesday, March 7, attendees will participate in various welcoming activities. Highlights of Thursday's agenda include seminars on the history of self-adhesive labels, threats and opportunities for the self-adhesive label sector, and future developments in prepress and platemaking. Seminars on Friday include topics such as sustainability, biodegradable films, and the FINAT release liner program. Additionally, FINAT's Young Managers Club (YMC) will meet on Friday for a session on communicating innovations to customers.
