Pamarco Global Graphics, in collaboration with Applied Laser Engineering, has finalized the purchase of a new laser system. According to the company, the purchase was made to enhance capacity due to consistent growth in anilox roll sales.
John Burgess, president of Pamarco’s Flexo Division, says: “This marks the final step forward in our conversion from CO2 to solid state lasers, and demonstrates our commitment to reinvesting in the company. Pamarco continues to be the industry leader in laser engraving technology.”
The new equipment is a 500M MBV, 3.5M ALE laser equipped with the latest hardware and software technology to produce a vast range of engraving configurations from 35 to 1500 lines per inch. The system is being installed in the La Palma, California plant.
