Label Traxx rolls out Digi Traxx at Dscoop7

March 27, 2012

Digi Traxx gives companies with existing business management systems the ability to automate order production to the HP Indigo press.

At Dscoop 7 in Washington DC last week, Label Traxx—the print business management software for flexographic and digital narrow web label printers and converters—introduced Digi Traxx, a powerful new tool that gives companies with existing business management systems the ability to automate order production to the HP Indigo press. Digi Traxx accepts orders directly from an existing MIS system via XML, adding key data elements such as digital eye marks and step and repeat, not in the existing system. Digi Traxx then creates the necessary JDF files and sends them to the HP digital front end or to Esko Automation Engine 10.

Commenting on the product introductions, Label Traxx Vice-President of Sales and Operations Luther Erlund, says, "As more and more label printers and converters move to digital printing, they often find their existing business management software cannot be fully support the complexities of the new digital presses. Digi Traxx provides the link to reap the benefits of automating the order entry and production process without replacing existing business systems.”

Label Traxx provides automated job management software for the printing industry. The company was formed as Tailored Solutions in 1993 by Ken Meinhardt and David Porter, both of whom remain active in the business. Label Traxx is designed for use on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.  Tailored Solutions is located in Milwaukee, WI, USA.
