EFI Connect, the digital printing company's annual users’ conference, is taking place this week, April 10-13, at the Wynn Las Vegas. Connect enables print industry leaders from around the world to attend educational sessions, test drive the latest EFI products, voice their opinions at user group meetings, discuss industry trends and network with peers.

With more than 150 class sessions covering MIS/ERP, Web-to-Print systems, inkjet and label solutions, and Fiery technology, attendees have access to the latest product training from company experts. They are also able to supplement the classroom learning with live demos in the lab area, where EFI is highlighting its complete portfolio, including fully integrated, end-to-end workflows.

Leading industry partners will have their latest products on display. Ricoh is this year’s Platinum sponsor. Canon U.S.A., Kodak, Konica Minolta, SmartLinc and xpedx are Gold sponsors. FLEXcon, Hybrid Software, Metamation, Metrix, MGI and Unisource are Bronze sponsors; and Honle UV America Inc. is a sponsor.

Frank Mallozzi, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at EFI, says, “Attendees will be busy for three-plus days with high-caliber educational sessions, lively keynote speakers, hands-on demos and discussions, user group meetings and more.”

This year’s event kicks off with an opening keynote by EFI CEO Guy Gecht at 2 p.m. on Tuesday April 10, followed later at 5 p.m. with Shutterfly President and CEO Jeffrey Housenbold in a “fireside chat” with Gecht. On Wednesday morning, April 11, attendees will hear the “State of the APPS portfolio” with Senior VP and GM Marc Olin. Later that day, Gecht will host a conversation with Robert Schlacter, vice president of copy and print operations and services at Staples.
