Kocher + Beck introduced its new UR Precision and presented the new ROTACAT, a rotation changer for window foils, for the first time at drupa. Additionally, the company sold a set of automatic transfer winders to a non-European customer - Smyth Companies, of Minneapolis, MN, USA - for the first time. Karin Enderle, sales manager for new business segments, was overwhelmed by the high level of demand.
Kocher + Beck's envelope technology presented its new ROTACAT, a rotation changer for window foils, for the first time. "The most important customers in this segment were able to see this machine's easy handling for themselves at the exhibition stand. The first ROTACAT has already been sold to the company Hanse Kuvert, of Reinbek, Germany; further inquiries are currently under discussion," the company said in a statement. "Kocher + Beck sees huge development potential in many areas and is looking forward to meeting new challenges."
According to the Kocher + Beck, predominantly senior management travelled to Düsseldorf for drupa, world's leading trade fair for the print and media industry. The event is held every four years in Düsseldorf.
