The Phoenix Challenge Foundation has announced the 2012 Phoenix Challenge Foundation Golf Tournament. The annual event, which focuses on raising funds to support flexo and graphic arts in education, will be held September 18, at Birkdale Golf Club, Huntersville, NC. It is a Captain’s Choice four-man scramble with prizes ranging from a new car, vacation trips, cash and many door prizes.
The Foundation is offering Platinum, Gold, Silver and a variety of optional sponsorships. In addition, there are many player and team openings. A few major event sponsors, like Bryce Corporation and Mark Andy, and several individual teams have registered for the event, renewing their commitment to providing scholarships and building awareness of flexo in education.
This year’s event is a notable mile marker. 2012 marks the 15th anniversary of the Phoenix Challenge Foundation year in operation. The Foundation has grown every year and is a thriving organization of dedicated professionals aimed at ensuring the viability of the industry through teaching practical flexo application, knowledge competitions and further education through scholarships and career development. It is the only one of its kind in North America.
The foundation exists solely through donations made by industry supporters and businesses. The primary purpose is building awareness and education of flexography throughout North America. Businesses and organizations participating as sponsors will have access to a variety of options that in-turn deliver a variety of marketing and recognition.
