EFI has announced that Chicago Tag & Label has selected EFI Radius as its new MIS/ERP software. In business for more than 65 years, Chicago Tag & Label is a leading national supplier of custom tags, custom labels and label-form combinations. The company has experienced steady growth over the years, and after an extensive review of options, Chicago Tag & Label selected EFI Radius Small Business Edition MIS to replace its EFI PSI Flexo system.
“We chose EFI Radius because it’s built for the packaging and label industry and its architecture is more robust than the other options we considered,” says Chris Valenti, chief operating officer at Chicago Tag & Label. “EFI is a trusted supplier with the necessary support to ensure a successful migration to the new system. We expect EFI Radius to take this company to a new level of performance.”
Valenti is specifically looking forward to better estimating, data collection and analytical tools. “The new streamlined estimating package was a very important factor in our decision to install EFI Radius,” he says. “In addition, shop floor data collection with DMI is going to help us drive press operator performance and ensure we maximize the efficiency of our equipment. And we can’t wait to use the high-level analytical tools that will enable us to make confident pricing and other product decisions.”
“EFI is committed to strong customer care and to providing solid upgrade paths for our PSI Flexo users, and we’re confident that EFI Radius is the best platform to bring streamlined, efficient operations to our packaging customers,” says David Taylor, general manager of EFI Radius.
