UEI Group acquires Falcontec assets

The combined company will underscore the UEI Group’s commitment to the European hot stamping and embossing market.

UEI Group, headquartered in Overland Park, KS, USA, has announced it has acquired the assets of Falcontec Ltd. to strengthen UEI Group’s position in the hot stamping and embossing industry. The combined company will underscore the UEI Group’s commitment to the European market.

“One of our core strategies is to expand our business where our customers are growing, meeting their needs in different parts of the world,” says Larry Hutchison, president and CEO of UEI Group. “Acquiring UK based Falcontec Ltd., not only demonstrates we’re serious about growing our business in Europe, it gives us the room we need to expand UEI Group’s capabilities and capacity.”

Falcontec Ltd., headquartered in Halesowen, West Midlands, is one of the UK’s premier rotary tooling manufactures supplying the growing pressure sensitive label markets for home and personal care, food and beverage, wine and spirit and healthcare industries. Falcontec will continue to operate in its Halesowen facility.

Hutchison adds, “We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition provides. Falcontec, and its full product line, will fall under the UEI Group of companies which includes Universal Engraving, Inc.; UEI FineCut Ltd.; UEI Systems and Infinity Foils, Inc.
