Kocher + Beck visits Herma

February 26, 2013

The K+B team toured Herma's new automated production facility.

During a recent annual technical meeting of the Kocher + Beck (K+B) team, which was attended by members from the US, UK and Russia, held at its German headquarters, the team was invited to visit label company Herma's new self adhesive materials manufacturing facility. Having worked together for many years, Lars Beck was delighted at the invitation to visit the firm’s new production facility.

Mr. Wallner, Herma's head of sales international, and Managing Director Thomas Baumgärtner welcomed K+B for a meeting to discuss the companies products, as well as their outlook on the general economic situation and industry trends. What followed was a tour of this semi-automated factory equipped with coating and laminating machines and automated stock warehousing. The automation continues through to palletizing and dispatch.

The cooperation between Herma and K+B was evident in the Herma Label Division, where numerous GapMasters and K+B flexible dies are in use. The K+B team also dropped in on Herma's digital label production, viewing the production of products for a business school
