Multi-Color’s Watertown, WI facility now LIFE certified

May 28, 2013

The plant is the 46th facility to achieve TLMI LIFE Certification.

TLMI has announced that Mutli-Color Corporation’s Watertown, WI facility has become LIFE certified. Multi-Color’s Watertown plant is the 46th facility to achieve TLMI L.I.F.E. Certification.

The LIFE program was developed in order to assist TLMI members to find cost effective ways to reduce their companies’ environmental footprint. LIFE is a program designed specifically for the narrow web marketplace and addresses four key elements of the narrow web printing and converting industry: clean production, energy and greenhouse gases, product and environmentally preferable materials, and management practices.

Linda Laehr, Multi-Color Watertown’s Production Manager, comments, “We are extremely proud of receiving this certification. The associates at the Watertown plant have worked hard toward the goal of keeping all recyclable waste out of the land fill and helping to make the community in which we work and live environmentally healthier.”

The TLMI LIFE Program is the only certification platform tailored to the specific requirements of the narrow web printing and packaging industry.
