Sato UK adds new Gallus press

The new machine will be mainly used for the production of water and UV-based roll-to-roll and roll-to-fold labels.

Sato UK, a label printer based in Dovercourt, Essex, UK, and employing around 60 people, announced the purchase of a Gallus EM 510 S. Equipped with 4 flexo printing units, the new Gallus machine will be mainly used for the production of waterand UV-based roll-to-roll and roll-to-fold labels.

Jason Wise, Sato UK's director, says that the Gallus EM 510 S will make a significant contribution to the competitive advantage of Sato UK due to its high production speed, the platform concept and the special modularity. The press was successfully installed in March 2013, making it the converter's tenth label press.

Sato UK was founded in 1940 and is a leader in supplying integrated automatic identification such as bar code and RFID technology.
