Imagine adds digital print capabilities

August 6, 2013

The diverse printing company has installed an HP Indigo WS6000 to meet demand for short run labels.

Imagine Print Solutions has further expanded its label and packaging offering with the addition of the HP Indigo WS6000.

"The HP Indigo WS6000 offers the most productive digital solution for frequent, smaller quantity, quick-turn print runs for label and packaging printing," the company says. "Eye-catching, distinctive quality is achieved with HP Indigo's high resolution printing and perfect registration, which matches up to 97% of the PANTONE color gamut. The HP Indigo also supports variable data printing with HDI (High Definition Imaging) to offer customers a number of applications, including: product personalization, security features, single product numbering, individualized tickets, game pieces, and more."

This press offers the choice of using mixed spot inks and 4-, 6- or 7-color simulations, in addition to giving the option of extending CMYK process with orange, violet and green. The press also prints white ink to open up a broader array of substrates, such as metallized or transparent. Stocks supported range from .47-17.7 mil in thickness, including self-adhesive label stock, shrink sleeves, films, folding cartons and more!

"We are excited to add this digital offering to our flexographic print capabilities," says Bob Lothenbach, president of Imagine Print Solutions. "By adding the HP Indigo WS600, Imagine reaffirms its commitment to adapt and address the challenges that face our clients. We spent a considerable amount of time investigating this acquisition and found the HP Indigo delivers the high quality, high speed and smaller runs customers demand. The fact it prints on such a wide variety of substrates is a bonus! We are pleased to offer this solution to the marketplace."
