Anderson & Vreeland, Inc. now offers Xitron Navigator RIPs and workflow systems specifically designed for label, narrow web and package printing markets with its appointment as distributor for Xitron, an independent developer of RIP and workflow products for the printing industry.

Xitron Navigator workflow, based on Harlequin RIP and Adobe PDF Print Engine technologies, is a prepress tool with an intuitive user interface for exceptional control and throughput. Xitron has sold over 25,000 Navigator RIP and workflow systems around the world. With over 150 supported output devices and many optional workflow tools, Xitron offers a system that is fully scalable and can grow as imaging needs expand.

"Xitron products complement our innovative line-up of best-in-class RIP solutions," says Lee Zerfass, digital business manager for Anderson & Vreeland. "Their RIPs and workflow are widely accepted in the marketplace which will facilitate the transition to digital output for many of our customers."

"We're extremely pleased to partner with Anderson & Vreeland," says Karen Crews, president of Xitron. "We're in the process of releasing products designed specifically for label, narrow web, and packaging applications. With over 50 years of knowledge and expertise in these markets, Anderson & Vreeland figures very prominently in our plans."

Anderson & Vreeland will sell Xitron RIPs, devise interfaces and workflow, and provide technical support using a nationwide staff of technical sales representatives.
