In keeping with its goal of developing unique finishes for package designers, Metal FX Films LLC says it is proud to introduce Metallized Cross Grain Brushed.

"The dramatic appearance will guarantee brand owners that their package will get the shoppers attention," the company says. "This new design is the result of input from package designers who seek innovative appearances that make packages stand out on store shelves. Major brands will benefit from this new finish which is distinctly different from anything previously seen in the decorative film market place."

Cross Grain metallized, brushed films were created using a proprietary process developed by Metal FX Films, and it's look has the brushed lines going in both vertical and horizontal directions. Sometimes thought of as a linen or crisscross pattern, this new offering is available in most standard web widths.

"Cross Grain," as it is referred to, is the latest in a series of brilliant, innovative patterns in the Metal FX Films library. Others such as "RealSteel and "BrightBrushed" have been introduced recently to very favorable reviews.

"This new capability is great news for our industry," says Jerry Brown, general manager for Clear Cast Technologies Inc. of Ossining, NY, USA "I have worked with Jim Parker and Charlie Yetka in the past and present and I have found that they have a total commitment to product quality, always 'make it better,' and customer service to be the ultimate, even for smaller-sized companies.

"There is a real feeling of pride for their products and a true concern on their part of how their material was working for me. When speaking with them, I never feel like 'just another customer' on their list of clients. I am simply thrilled that once again our industry has access to their continued services and their superb attention-to-detail for brushed, decorative films," Brown concludes.
