Flexographic Technical Association’s (FTA) upcoming Fall Conference, “Beyond the Concept: Innovation in Action,” (Oct. 20-22; DoubleTree by Hilton in Minneapolis, MN), will offer attendees a complimentary tour of the 3M Innovation Center immediately after the conference close on Oct. 22.
Over the years, 3M innovations have improved daily life for hundreds of millions of people worldwide. 3M has made driving at night easier; buildings safer; and consumer electronics lighter, less energy-intensive and less harmful to the environment. It has even helped put a man on the moon.
The 3M Innovation Center, located in Saint Paul, MN, showcases the breadth and depth of the rich and diverse technologies, processes and products 3M has created. Through dynamic displays and interactive, hands-on demonstrations, attendees will see previously unknown technologies and fascinating, real life applications. The tour includes a boxed lunch and transportation to and from the 3M Innovation Center. Space is limited, so those interested in attending should reserve a spot as soon as possible. Tour sign-up can be completed during the conference registration process.
3M will also open FTA’s Fall Conference program with a presentation by James Sax, titled “Innovation at 3M” during the “Process of Innovation” session. Additional sessions include:
Innovation Through FIRST
Innovation & The Image Carrier – Parts I, II & III
2014 Technical Innovation Winners
Printed Electronics: What Does it Mean to the Flexo Industry?
Innovative Flexo Workflow Solutions
FQC Expanded Gamut 2 Conclusions
