FLEXcon has introduced an expansion of its sureFLEX product line with sureFLEX W120, a 2 mil white film that works with multiple container types, including squeeze tube applications with crimp, full wrap labels, and front and back panels.
It is designed for large panel and irregularly shaped surfaces. The sureFLEX product line is a series of clear and white BOPP films designed for primary and secondary labeling applications, and the materials can benefit the pharmaceutical, health and beauty, food and beverage, and household chemical markets.
Additionally, sureFLEX W120 with higher-shear V-01 permanent acrylic adhesive offers open time for clean removability of label misplacements at dispensing. As a result, converters do not have to discard the container if a label is misapplied as it can be removed without leaving any adhesive residue. The open time is several seconds for polyester (PET) and longer for high-density polyethylene (HDPE). In addition, V-01 adhesive won’t buildup on presses and diecutting equipment.
“Our goal is to deliver more than a product. We make it our mission to enable our customers to stay competitive by arming them with a variety of high-performance solutions at reasonable prices,” says Michelle Lamontagne, market development specialist, FLEXcon. “The flexibility and adaptability of sureFLEX W120 improves efficiencies, minimizes waste and provides a high-performance labeling option for even the most challenging surfaces for primary labeling.”
According to FLEXcon, the film’s smooth surface and 1.2 mil polyester release liner support high quality graphics. It offers excellent opacity, and the topcoat optimizes ink receptivity with a wide range of inks, including UV, solvent and water flexo, UV and solvent screen, and UV letterpress. The expanded sureFLEX W120 is also compliant with FDA 175.105 for indirect food contact.
