With less than one month until the 2015 Fall Conference kicks off in Columbus, OH, USA, the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has announced that the exhibit hall is completely sold out, with a record 69 exhibitors slated to showcase their wares and services to an audience of more than 350 delegates. The event, themed, “Flexo, The Methods to Our Madness” will take place November 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus.
“Fall Conference has always elicited a strong engagement of printers and suppliers,” says FTA president Mark Cisternino. “This year is proving to be one for the record books, as we’ve sold out all available exhibits and can see conference attendance approaching 400–both records for FTA. The industry’s enthusiasm and support for this event is evident in its continuous growth over the past many years. The combined conference program and networking exhibit sessions are sure to provide outstanding value to all in attendance.”
The exhibit hall will feature the newest technologies designed to promote efficiency and productivity in the pressroom and will include such products as: plates, sleeves, color management software, doctor blades, cleaning systems, and inks for the tag and label, flexible packaging and corrugated markets, just to name a few.
In addition to the exhibit gallery, the conference will feature hands-on technical sessions, assembled by chairs Ellen Farrell, DuPont Packaging Graphics and Lon Robinson, Tension Corp. Attendees will go through each method— optimization, fingerprinting, process control, characterization, and continuous improvement—guided by presenters who will explain the rationale behind decisions that were made and how problems were overcome. In the end, the aim is to reel in the chaos so the pressroom can be a place of logic, reason and control.
While the exhibit space is sold out, there is a wait list available for those still interested in exhibiting, should space become available.
