Cindy Freeman has joined Repacorp, Inc. as compliance manger. With 18 years experience in the pressure sensitive industry, Freeman brings expertise in UL, cUL and CSA compliance, RoHS (substance of high concern – SHC), REACH (Substance of very high concern – SHVC), Conflict Minerals, and California Prop 65 (drinking water).
Freeman has implemented many processes that ensure product received by customers is compliant with applicable standards, environmental and regulatory directives, compliance data collection, monitoring and reporting.
Repacorp has purchased equipment to manufacture shrink wrap and flexible packaging products, which plan to be available the second or third quarter of 2016. As the manufacturing process is being set up and knowledge acquired, Freeman has been brought to Repacorp to implement SQF (Safe Quality Food) inspections in Repacorp’s Ohio facility. Freeman will work closely with the plant manager to recommend, optimize and facilitate processes for safe food packaging manufacturing compliance.
“By adding SQF certification to Repacorp’s Ohio facility, our resellers will have additional sales opportunities for our flexible packaging products,” says Freeman.
