Mack Brook Exhibitions has announced that Robert Fry, the chief economist for Robert Fry Economics, will deliver the keynote to kick off ICE USA 2017 – the International Converting Exhibition. Fry will discuss current conditions in the global economy and the outlook for future growth, with an emphasis on global manufacturing and the health of the overall US economy.
Fry will deliver his address on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 9 a.m. as part of ICE USA, scheduled for April 25-27, 2017 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, USA.
ICE USA is designed for key decision makers in the converting industry, specializing in engineering, sales, factory management, production and R&D. In addition to popular events like the “Ask the Expert” program and educational training, there will be over 300 exhibiting companies on the expo floor, featuring machinery and products for the conversion of paper, film, nonwovens and other web-based materials.
“Our goal is to deliver top-notch educational content at ICE USA, so we are thrilled to have Dr. Fry as the keynote speaker," says Melissa Magestro, executive vice president of Mack Brooks Exhibitions. "Attendees and exhibitors will be impressed by Dr. Fry’s knowledge and how trends in the US economy may affect the converting industry. We want to thank the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters, and Laminators (AIMCAL) for sponsoring Dr. Fry’s appearance.”
Among the topics Fry will cover include growth in US GDP and industrial production; recovery of the US housing sector; and the strength of the US dollar, inflation, and interest rates.
