After successful testing at Omet’s headquarters in Lecco, Italy, Eti.Vibra has selected the new iFlex 370 flexographic printing press with combined technology.
The long friendship between Enrico Gandolfi, Omet sales manager for Italy, and the owners of Eti.Vibra, Vincenzo Brancaccio and his wife, Silvana Amoruso, added to the final agreement at their last meeting at Labelexpo Europe 2015, which led to a union between the two companies. Eti.Vibra’s first purchase of an Omet machine was finalized during the meeting, which was also attended by all four children of Mr. And Mrs. Brancaccio, representing the future of the company.
The new Omet line will allow the Campania-based company to consolidate its market, which has been firmly rooted for years now, with a significant expansion of its production capability.
The decision to move toward mixed technology with flexographic printing, cold foil and other finishing applications, is due to the requirements of an increasingly demanding market, whose players must be able to face just-in-time procurement times. Both Eti.Vibra and Omet hope that this will be just the first of a long series of printing machines that they may purchase over the years.
