Dynamic Dies has been named the 2017 Top Workplace, awarded by Workplace Dynamics and the Toledo Blade. The honor was announced during a presentation hosted in Toledo, OH, USA, which is the headquarter city of Dynamic Dies.
The Top Workplace Award is determined based solely on employee feedback and conducted by Workplace Dynamics, a research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
“What is significant about receiving this award is that it is truly the voice of the employees," says president Tom Sullivan. “I am certainly proud that our employees, through their feedback on the survey, rated us highly for this award. The foundation of Dynamic Dies is based on ‘take care of the employees and they will take care of the customer.'"
Dynamic Dies ranked above the benchmark average. According to Workplace Dynamics, a benchmark participation rate in the survey process is 65%. Dynamic Dies’ employees reached 93% voluntary participation in the survey process.
Employee comments from the survey included "everyone is treated fairly and equally" and "leadership cares," which was a core value when the company was founded in 1971 and is still a part of the organizational fabric today. Present to receive the award with Sullivan was COO Pat Sullivan, vice president, HR, Jill Kopanis and CFO Tim Ellerbrock.
The selection for the award was based on factors evaluating the organizational health, including alignment, execution and connection; employee satisfaction including job, management, benefits and pay along with evaluation of employee engagement, retention and motivation.
