Constantia Flexibles has acquired the Domino N610i 7-color digital UV inkjet label press for the Labels Division at its Mason, OH, USA facility. Constantia Flexibles supplies its products to numerous multi-national corporations and local market leaders in the food, pet food, pharmaceuticals and beverage industries. This is the first digital label press for the company's Ohio facility.

The Domino N610i 7-color digital UV inkjet will be configured as a hybrid label printing solution in conjunction with CEI (Converting Equipment International). This “CEI Bossjet powered by Domino” label press will allow Constantia Flexibles to produce short run marketing promotions, enter new market segments, and enjoy value-added production to their flexo-based label printing business.

The Domino N610i 7-color digital UV inkjet label press runs at a minimum 164 fpm and up to 246 fpm. Print resolution is 600 x 600 native dpi, the extended color gamut achieves over 90% of the Pantone range, and the white that has an opacity over 70%. According to Domino, the N610i delivers the highest digital productivity, the best digital UV inkjet quality, the most consistent print results and is a simple operating model.
