Inland, a provider of advanced packaging and label printing, has been recognized as a "Best Workplace in the Americas (BWA)" by Printing Industries of America (PIA) for the fourth straight year. Printing Industries of America created the BWA awards to honor printing companies that provide a superior work environment.
The annual Best Workplace in the Americas awards are designed to recognize graphic arts companies for outstanding human relations efforts that contribute to a successful workplace. A panel of respected HR professionals from the print industry judged entrants against benchmarking categories that promote the most sought-after qualities of today's workforce, including: Communication & Culture, Employee Resources & Benefits, and Work Environment & Safety. Inland was commended by judges on their work environment, insurance benefits and charitable activities.
“It is a privilege to be honored year-after-year for this industry award,” says Mike Skroch, vice president of human resources at Inland. “Inland continues to invest in our company and employees while maintaining a safe and reputable place to work.”
Michael Makin, president and CEO of Printing Industries of America, agrees. “Companies recognized in the Best Workplace in the Americas program exhibit the highest commitment to success in many ways, but particularly through their employees. Congratulations to Inland.”
