MPS has made another move in its strategy to expand local presence in Asia with the appointment of a second new agent. Interworld Cre is now locally representing MPS flexo, offset, and hybrid press solutions for label and packaging printers in the Philippines, following the recent appointment of Chimeng Packaging as the local MPS agent in Taiwan.
“With many years’ experience selling flexo auxiliary equipment in the narrow and wide-web industry, Interwork Cre is well connected and has built strong partnerships with many reputable printers,” says George Tan, MPS Area Sales Manager. “With a population of over 106 million people, and one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia, the Philippines is a key territory for MPS. With Interworld Cre on board, we are in an ideal position to locally service and support label and packaging printers and increase MPS presence in this exciting region.”
Established in 2007, Interworld Cre is a leading supplier within the graphic art industry in the Philippines and is strongly committed to exceed customer satisfaction through high quality service from a strong technical support team. In addition to MPS, Interworld Cre represents several industry suppliers with a product portfolio including sheet-fed die cutters, anilox rolls, diecutting consumables, pressroom chemicals, steel rule dies, and finishing systems. A key Interworld Cre service engineer will receive in-depth product training at MPS headquarters in Arnhem, The Netherlands.
Other recent developments in Asia since the opening of the local MPS office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is the appointment of Julius Urbano as Regional Service Engineer and Suwannee Tantisrisuk Area Sales Manager for Thailand and Southeast Asia. MPS is actively supporting local industry events and conferences with Tim Klappe, Managing Director of MPS Asia Pacific recently presenting at Shift_018 in Bangkok about what connectivity and the Internet of Things means for the labels and packaging industry.
