ETI has announced it is helping another Montreal-based company, Tristan, by manufacturing protective face shields during the pandemic.
Tristan provides quality clothing for men and women. With high performance equipment, ETI was able to quickly adapt its technology to diecut face shields, thus providing Tristan the necessary material to complete the final assembly.
These face shields will be particularly useful to people working in the medical field with patients suffering from COVID-19, as well as in the food industry, pharmaceutical, transportation, etc. The face shields for personal use will support day-to-day public activities by limiting the spread of infectious disease.
By diecutting material at high speed, ETI has increased Tristan's ability to meet the growing demand for quality face shields. ETI, with its brand new Technology Center, states it is proudly contributing to develop and bring new products to market that meet an urgent need in the community.
