Soma, a producer of flexographic printing presses, slitter rewinders and laminators, has announced that it is rolling out a one-stop turnkey solution for the installation of its equipment in the US and Canada. The Soma turnkey solution is a single source for safe transportation, experienced installation and overall efficient operations.
It can be very difficult managing shipments from the port of entry to the plant floor, requiring the coordination of different services and companies to assure the safe delivery of equipment. Soma is now offering its customers one single resource that will ship, clear customs, and transport Soma equipment to the customer’s location. Once the machine arrives, they will provide the rigging – unloading and moving all of the pieces into place – and will prepare the machine for startup and training.
Soma will provide an up-front proposal that will define the complete service and provide an estimate.
The company's turnkey services can save time and money as customers work with a single crew for the entire transportation and rigging project. It helps to reduce the stress and lost productivity that can come with equipment installation projects.
“As we continue to build our presence in North America, Soma has worked hard to put in place an easy, complete and safe process to deliver our equipment to any site in the US and Canada,” explains Garrett Taylor, sales director, US and Canada. “This is particularly important now, as limited travel makes efforts more complicated. By coordinating everything from one office, we are making it very easy for customers to work with us."
