Channeled Resources Group (CRG), a manufacturer of blank shipping labels and release liner, has appointed Matt Cain to director of manufacturing, effective immediately.
Currently the general manager of a CNC manufacturing operation in Pleasant Prairie, WI, USA, Cains entire career prior was in the converting world. In addition to operations and manufacturing, he has a great deal of experience in information systems.
The bulk of his career was spent with Tekkote, a release liner manufacturer in New Jersey that became part of Mondi in 2011. Cain held multiple roles over the course of time spent there, including manager of planning and systems, IT manager and vice president of operations.
According to Cindy White, president and CEO, “I’m thrilled that Matt has joined the CRG team to support the growth of Channeled Resources’ manufacturing businesses. He is a data-driven but still people-focused guy, and we expect him to build on the core values and strengths that make us who we are and help us achieve a higher level of manufacturing performance.”
Cain holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. He will be based at the CRG plant in Marathon City, WI.
