A B Graphic International (ABG) has supplied two of its Digicon Series 3 finishing machines to German business etikett.de, an online B2B label manufacturer. The investment will help the company supplement production and expand capacity while furthering its market penetration ambitions.
Both machines were installed at the company’s premises in early December 2020, inline with the German government’s pandemic guidelines and restrictions.
Established in 2011, etikett.de aims to become Germany’s market leader for online label production, thanks to their competitive pricing. Benefiting from lean work processes and efficient technology, the company’s equipment and 70-strong team provide a high quality and reliable offering.
Being modular in design, both of etikett.de's new Digicon Series 3s have been configured to meet production requirements. One of the machines features is ABG’s Fast Track diecutting module, which is ideally suited for large jobs of 1,500 linear meters or more. Also included on this machine is an auto-slit module, which features a time saving label gap sensor and automatically setting knives.
etikett.de's second machine includes ABG’s Big Foot 50-ton capacity hot foil and embossing module. Featuring a rotatable foil head that can foil across and along the web, allowing a wide choice of foil options, together with much deeper embossing and debossing, the module also includes a special coating unit for imprinting with UV coatings. ABG’s diecutting module and a 100% camera inspection unit are also included.
Klaus Nordlohne, sales manager for Germany, says, “etikett.de's investment in two high-specification Digicon Series 3s provides a good insight into their ongoing market ambitions. And in testament to the resolve of the ABG team and our customers that, despite the challenging circumstances, we are delighted that we can continue to push forward with important machine installations.”
