Channeled Resources Group (CRG), a manufacturer of blank shipping labels, release liner, and the world’s largest supplier of value-priced laminated papers and films, has appointed Dan Cain to the position of director of quality and engineering for the CRG Liner Division, effective immediately.
Cain has over 20 years of experience in the release liner market, having worked at Tekkote Corporation, Mondi Group, and Mactac North America, improving operational efficiency and developing new products.
According to Cindy White, president and CEO, Channeled Resources Group, “I’m thrilled that Dan has joined the CRG team to support the growth of Channeled Resources’ release liner business. He will enable us to continue to achieve a high level of manufacturing performance at our release liner plants in Wisconsin and Toronto.”
Cain will be in charge of product development and the CRG Liner Division quality team. Key responsibilities will be enhancing productivity, reducing scrap rate, and providing a high-quality product going out the door.
Cain holds a Bachelors of Science in accounting from Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, and a degree in Industrial Management and Applied Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He will be based at the CRG plant in Marathon City, WI, and will be moving to the area in mid-August from Scranton, PA.
