DataLase will be exhibiting its proprietary technologies at this year’s SuperCorrExpo, which takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, USA, from August 8-12, 2021. As this will be the company’s first show following the Covid-19 pandemic, DataLase staff is unable to attend due to current travel restrictions. However, with this being a key industry event, the company want to ensure it still has a representative and presence at the exhibition.
With production environments becoming increasingly challenging, both brand owners and converters alike are demanding more robust, high contrast coding and marking of variable data, to ensure compliance and traceability of products and packaging. DataLase will therefore be using the expo to focus on its efficient and sustainable Case and Product Coding Solutions, which are designed to meet these requirements.
The company will also showcase a new addition to the portfolio.
The company’s highly acclaimed Case Coding Solution enables supply chains to be responsive and flexible to consumer demand. The solution uses a laser to provide a fast and highly efficient method of applying variable information, such as barcodes, date and lot codes, QR codes, graphics and sequential batch numbers, onto corrugated boxes and shelf ready packaging (SRP). The technology also helps eliminate waste and single use plastics from the supply chain.
In addition to case coding, DataLase will also be displaying examples of their Product Coding Solution. Through the integration of an efficient laser marking system, the product provides high contrast variable data on a variety of substrates.
“This is second time that DataLase has had a booth at a SuperCorrExpo event and we are excited to be presenting our innovations once again and getting back to a sense of near-normality,” says Paul Dustain, DataLase’s CSMO. “The US is a key geographical area for DataLase, allowing us to reinforce our brand and present our photonic solutions to a highly influential audience.”
